This meeting idea was initiated by the industry representative. The program took place over 3 days. The first day offered a Research-update meeting where the ESRs gave short presentations of their latest research, supplemented by questions from the audience. On the same day a workshop was held on Industry needs where the representatives of partner companies described what they were looking for in a candidate. The “elevator pitch training” – an interactive training where ESRs present themselves in an elevator pitch – provided ESRs with feedback from the industry representatives. The second day, ESRs were getting advised by industry representatives on how to build a good CV and how to apply for positions in industry. There has also been a session dedicated to Research application examples and a session providing information on MSCA post-doctoral fellowship program. The last day the organizers prepared for an Invited talk by an expert from FAU: Marcel Hoffmann presenting “Raw concepts for Deep Learning Enhanced in Automotive Radar Signal Processing”.
